- Valid MO Teaching Certificate, required;
- Must meet DESE requirements for certification as Career Education Counselor and/or Career Services Coordinator;
- Bachelor’s Degree, required Master's degree, preferred;
- Prior counseling experience, preferred, but not required

- Maintains accurate records and filing systems for accountability and audit purposes as required by law and Board policy.
- Solve practical problems utilizing math functions as needed to complete job duties.
- Read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and handbooks and apply to job duties.
Essential Functions:
- Act as a liaison with the sending school counselors.
- Maintains lines of communication with the counselors about student progress, changes or updates in programs, and student enrollment.
- Oversees data collection as required for DESE and Perkins Accountability measures.
- Coordinates all recruitment activities for all sending schools including presentations on and off-campus as well as arranging tours and other recruitment activities.
- Work closely with the Director and Vocational Special Services coordinator to provide support for students and staff as needed.
- Carry out all other duties as assigned.

- Speak and hear in an environment where numerous conversations and activities may be taking place simultaneously
